Michaela explains: ” Tuina is mainly used for disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as the hands are used to work on the musculoskeletal system. Tuina can also be used in other areas. These include the digestive system, menstrual disorders, headaches and much more.
“Sometimes the hands are not sufficient as a tool and aids such as cupping glasses, moxa herb and gua sha have to be used. On the whole, Tuina is a really cool thing.”
